Capital Numérique
"Capital Numérique" is coordinated by International Organisation of Francophonie (OIF). Ina is, among West African Economic and Monetary Union, Internation Council of Radio and Television of French Expression (CRITEF), one of the main partners of this project. Its role is :
- To participate to the development of the new version of digitization software AIME (V4) and creation of a web portal (Archibald) to encourage African public boradcasters to use stock footage in their video productions.
- To provide computer trainings related to AIME v4 and Archibald.
- To advise UEMOA (West African Economic and Monetary Union) to elaborate commmon regulations about copyright and audiovisual legal deposit.
- To train African journalists and filmmakers in making documentary films with archive footage.
The main goals of this projet are to prepare a legal framework conducive to the preservation of audiovisual heritage and to set up a network of television archives thanks to Archibald platform (developed by Ina).
